Do you ever stop and think about your life? 

The question is, when am I not thinking about my life? Every second, every step, every breath that I take comes with a revaluation of where I am, where I’m going - everything. Everything to come, everything that’s happened. Memories. Future. 

The real problem for me is that I need to stop and clear my mind once in a while.

To be completely and brutally honest, no, I am not.

Well that would be my fiancee. He is the most amazing and sweet man I have ever met and that could ever love me in return. I am so happy to have met him and have the chance to spend the rest of my life with him.

If I HAD to pick three for each gender…Axel, Hope, and Noel. Aqua, Lightning, and Xion. Because she is a seriously unappreciated character.

My top ten are Jotaro, Castiel, Josef, America, John, Kakyoin, Phoebe, Maria, Beatrice, and Sakuya.
And I love them all equally.

I went through the public school system with valor and bravo, but that didn’t mean I won the war without scars.

I was a tall, fat girl with acne and weird friends. People often called me mean, too. Why? Because for years I was just picked on for no good reason or another. I tried to be nice, I tried to ignore it, but it all just left me bitter. I still can’t take compliments.

This blog is called SECRETLY NICE because that’s what I still am. I’m not someone you can openly approach and talk to without me thinking that you’re trying to fool me, somehow, that your niceness is a setup for something.

I was sexually harassed, spit on, mocked, screamed at whenever I would walk by random people…(I didn’t flinch at that, but I’m very jumpy).

The worst of it all, though, was being told, as a senior, “We wouldn’t make fun of you if you didn’t act weird.”

All I was was quiet. I drew, I answered questions, I kept to myself.

What did I do?
